March 31, 2015

Trig Chairman Martin Ritchie has been recognised by the Institute of Directors, Scotland, at their prestigious annual awards ceremony in Glasgow.

Over 400 business people gathered at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, to celebrate the talents of individuals who are successfully leading Scottish businesses and delivering economic growth.

Winning the coveted Chairman’s Award, Martin Ritchie’s achievement was underlined by Chairman of the IoD Scotland Ian McKay. “This award is given to the person who has contributed greatly to the profession of directorship over a significant number of years and has acted as a role model for others. As well as a strong record of business success, the winner has also shown a commitment to the IoD and their community. The winner is an ambassador for business, for the profession of directorship and for Scotland.”

I was delighted to learn that the IoD, Scotland recognised Martin’s huge contribution to business and the wider community. Martin’s capacity to motivate, encourage and lead has been a boost to all the businesses he’s been involved in.
