Meet the Trig Team at Aero Expo UK

June 1, 2017

This week Trig Avionics is exhibiting at the UK’s premier festival of aviation, Aero Expo UK.

The show has a new venue, Wycombe Air Park in Buckinghamshire. Popular with general aviation pilots, this fly-in show enables visiting pilots to bring their own aircraft and meet the Trig team. Trig are on hand to give avionics sales advice and support expertise at the show, which runs from the 1st to the 3rd of June – the Trig stand is located in A33.

This year there is a strong interest in 8.33 kHz radios, as regulatory changes require many aircraft owners to upgrade their VHF radios to the latest 8.33 technology. Jon Roper, Trig Marketing Manager said, “I’d encourage pilots to come and see our avionics products at the show. It’s a great opportunity to try out our products which are easy to use, with practical features that make flying more satisfying and safer. As pilots, here at Trig we work hard to provide avionics that are genuinely ‘Better by Design’ an ethos that runs through all that we do as a company.”

The purchase of an aviation radio is a long term investment and Trig products offer the best mix of quality, features and value. At the moment the CAA is also offering aircraft owners the opportunity to recover 20% of the purchase price through the 8.33 radio rebate scheme. Further details can be found here

A similar scheme is also available to European pilots via IAOPA here applicants need to enter their contact information and indicate their Trig radio preference. You don’t have to be an AOPA member to take part in the scheme.

Jon added, “With 8.33 upgrades in progress customers are also fitting Mode S transponders and ADS-B Out equipment. Trig has exciting ADS-B products such as our TN72 GPS position source at the show. This is an ideal enhancement to existing or new Trig transponder installations, enabling ADS-B Out capability. More details on all Trig products can be found at www.trig-avionics.com
